False or True Prophet? Responses to a critic

Excuse me while I delve into the mortal, human aspect of the self for a moment and respond to a critic, dealing with the relationship between the two corporeal existences of the author, motives, predictions, prophecy and y2k, which is probably what others are pondering as well.

The economic portion of the site is not designed for specific financial gain or exact predictions designed to come true on a micro-level. It is simply a guesstimated rough, macro outline, somewhat speculative, of what I've sensed and know shall occur in the medium-term environment; of a global economic calamity as a precursor for what must take place in the long-run. That is, the final global war within a generation that was in fact shown to me by God; through the doomsday machine described in The Final Book Of Daniel in the introduction: http://finalbookofdaniel.com/book/

[ One should not proceed reading this page unless the above link and writing have been read in ful, or at least the introductionl. ]

The other assumption being made by some, that "If you are a true prophet and an angel, and the re-incarnated spirit of Daniel, then ALL your predictions, whether it be y2k or economic should have come true."

Now, concerning prophecy/predictions.

"... Well, The Bible says that the only true test of a prophet is that his prophesies will come true, and since info from God himself is presumed to be infallible, that means they will come true at the times given. You've flunked that test big time... ..You have now taken to making your predictions so vague and on such a flabby time frame, that they are sure to come true sooner or later in the natural course of things. It's a sure bet that there is going to be a recession sooner or later, and when that happens you have all the bases covered." Mike

Sigh...

What the Bible really says, is that if a prophet makes a prophecy IN THE NAME OF THE LORD it shall be true and infallible. That is prophecy. Predictions are a whole different ball game.

Do you really think the prophets of old (Bible) knew everything about the future?? Of course not! Try reading the book of Daniel and tell me how precise the prophecies contained therein-- that were actually transmitted by a fellow angel to Daniel (me)--really are; they are far more vague and over a much grander time scale than those I have received so far. (NOTE: RECEIVED BY GOD--not my mind)

Second: Prophets are humble and sincere but in themselves, they are NOT infallible; but they serve an infallible God who allows His servants to sometimes stumble to teach us that "Without Him we can do nothing." (John 15:5). Secondly: In spite of their weaknesses and failures, God still demands 'respect' for His prophets. "...do my prophets no harm." (Psalms 105:15).

To see a very insightful analysis regarding the true test of a prophet, which 90% is correct and essentially describes me to a T, CLICK HERE.

The following is the only prophecy I make in the name of the LORD, and is based on an interpretation of the Doomsday Clock, that was in fact from God;

"We will have to experience a (several-year) period of severe economic tribulation that will fundamentally alter the world's economic structure from which a new strategic paradigm will emerge: a full, total global war in the next twenty years that will be fought with maximum effort, nuclear weapons will be used, and the America/China/India/Russian "problem" will be resolved...but only after a culmination of unforeseeable events climax into World War Three in which either a new global power for the next long cycle is determined, or re-appointed (that is, the USA)."

The author does not know the details in between, or exactly what follows--it least not yet, and is ridiculous to expect me to do so with exact precision. This distinction must be emphasized very strongly: I do not [YET] know the exact series of economic, political or strategic events between these and any long term forecasts--which are purely speculative guesstimates on my part of the mortal and therefore limited mind . Although, God willing, this shall be known in the future. In fact, I will gladly submit to a death by stoning should this (WWIII) not come to pass.

It may seem like extremely bad timing to be touched by the hand of God during the pre and post y2k time frame. Being that God works in mysterious but just ways, and having a sense of humor, He waited until shortly before y2k--after I had been saying y2k could be a disaster for 18 months--to consciously awake and activate the dormant angel within and tell me I was Daniel. This was done to test my will and patience and ability to deal with criticism while simultaneously coming forward with this extraordinary information revealed. It was not I who appointed and identified as such and was not my choice. It was the choice and doings of God, and to publicly humiliate and bring low His loyal servant; "Humiliation is the beginning of sanctification." Look at it this way: it would have been the work of the devil (Lucifer) to "boost my credibility" by making perfectly correct y2k predictions then immediately coming forward with this information. God has done this to me to also weed out the wicked and unwise, and those who cannot see. Please understand that the reason I and many others were "wrong" on y2k was for a special reason

: The Y2K computer problem was a unique and alterable event in which my extensive involvement was (sub-consciously) directed in order to make create a self-defeating prophecy according to God's Plan in giving warning. The previous fear-mongering and dire assessments were necessary to shock people into action. I was only one of many sacrificial servants to this cause (crusade?). See: Post-y2k Mea Culpa: Why y2k Was a Non-event for an in-depth over-view and rebutal.

Humans--AND angels do not know the future with 100% certainty, even in pure spirit form--because we have free will and the future can be changed. But they can in fact occasionally receive an accurate message from God--who knows everything-- which are then transmitted to a human prophet such as Ezekiel, Jeremiah or me (Daniel).

Does this fellow really expect God to give me an exact outline of the future such as "The Dow will be at 7,587.79 on March 27, 2000?" Or, "GDP will drop exactly 2.9% from April 1 2001 to July 1, 2001?" Amazing! I recognize people are now scrutinizing every tiny little typo, word and punctuation mark written for clues to pick apart for any error in order to desecrate and criticize. I can certainly understand high expectations from others, particularly now, after what was written recently, but let's get real; I've only been partially "transfigured" or, living in two different worlds since October 19999. The adaptation to this new condition takes time; it is an evolutionary process. I don't yet have full angelic powers; my intelligence and intuition are right now constantly increasing rapidly at a rate that, if it continues as such, will ultimately exceed all human beings. When in full, pure spirit form, I will have access, through God to "Everything that everything that ever was, is, and will be," as was the case during the near death experience, simply by reading His mind.

The old Book of Daniel was written over the period of decades. Am I expected to receive all of this information from God all at once, fully decipher everything, write a massive book, and instantly publish it!? For goodness sakes, be patient. What you've read so far it the very, very beginning. Be thankful you are able to view a rough copy preview version. I'm not here to live up to anybody's expectations. After all, the definition of "Daniel" is : 'God is my judge.'

A couple seem so adamant on criticizing me; essentially personal attacks based on misconceptions, misrepresentations or personal beliefs. Particularly from closed-minded fundamentalists, who take the Bible a litle bit too literally , trying to make me out to be "a devil" or "false prophet" or what have you. I thrive on criticism, but only if it's productive and constructive.

Motives of author?

The author is making $00.00 off this, and have only made $360 total prior to 2000 and site in the past and will make $00.00 on the book to come, since it's all free to read,.and do not receive a red cent for it. I do not trade in the stock market--at all--and haven't in the past either. I don't even own any precious metals. My only assets are a $600 jalopy and a years worth of food. So why am I giving away all these thousands of hours of sacrificial research, work and effort? When I could be involved in far more profitable pursuits?

Charity; it's what angels do.

The reader must understand that what the author is doing here is severely self-sacrificial. I cannot possibly gain or profit from all this. At least not in the physical, worldly aspect.

Am I looking for fame and fortune? No way! And certainly will not receive any. Don't expect to see me on the nightly news, or signing photographs. When the final book of Daniel is completed and written in stone and published, will continue to remain a nobody until the physical death, at which point I shall be rewarded with full angelic powers and status, as promised.

Exactly what was everyone expecting? A wise, old-looking man with a beard and white robe with the book of life in arms to come floating out of the sky?

When Jesus said "beware of "false prophets" he did NOT mean "reject all prophets after the bible!" He also said "YOU WILL KNOW THEM BY THEIR FRUITS!"

MY fruits are of the Holy Spirit and truth, Light and God. Just because a prophet's message may contradict YOUR narrow biblical interpretation or teachings include things like reincarnation etc. does not mean I'm "false."

Let me remind you that they killed most of the true Hebrew prophets, killed Jesus, and killed 11 out of the 12 apostles of Jesus. In other words, claiming to be a prophet is essentially a death sentence. Prophet such as Jesus and myself bring Light into the world, and sometime it's too much light for people to handle.

Most do not understand that true prophecy is NOT one that come true, but rather one that is heeded, thereby altering the outcome....to change the course of history itself. This is what y2k warning was all about; the outcome was changed.

Now, I suggest going to the page where my track record of prediction/prophecies are explained. Virtually EVERYTHING has been coming to pass with a "100%" acuracy rate since my awakening which is as close to being as "biblical" as possible.. Click here to read my track record of modern prophecies.

Here is a general chart identifying qualities of a true and false prophet of God, whch matches the author:

Characteristics of True Prophets:
Characteristics of False Prophets:
True Prophets

1) Few in Number; trusts only in God
Jer 17:5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
2) Generally disliked and not trusted
Mat 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. James 5:10 Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.
3) Speaks what God says - "God says..."
Deut 18:18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
4) Gives warning of God's judgment of all
Ezek 33:7 So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.
5) Works in the Holy Spirit and wields the sword of truth
2 Pet 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
6) Demonstrates the Power of God and shows the Glory of God
1 Cor 2:4-5 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
7) Socially unacceptable to the proud; does not conform to people's expectations:
1 Cor 1:26-29 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence.
8) Speaks a compelling message:
1 Cor 14:37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.
9) Seeks God's will in your life:
Prov 3:13-14 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.
10) Seeks God for His counsel:
Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
11) Calls for the testing of prophets
1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
12) Shares that we too are subject to God's judgment, to fear God:
Rev 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
13) Shares Scripture to show the truth:

1 Cor 14:37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

False Prophets

1) Many of them; trusts the majority opinion

1 Ki 18:19 Now therefore send, and gather to me all Israel unto mount Carmel, and the prophets of Baal four hundred and fifty, and the prophets of the groves four hundred, which eat at Jezebel's table.

2) Generally liked and trusted by the people

Luke 6:26 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

3) Speaks presumptuously of God; "I think ..."

Deu 18:22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

4) Speaks of peace and prosperity

Jer 23:16-17 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the LORD. They say still unto them that despise me, The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.

5) Uses power of suggestion or illusion; calls it signs & wonders

Mat 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

6) Demonstrates the wisdom of men and enjoys men's praise

Luke 6:26 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

7) Socially acceptable and conforms to people's expectations

2 Tim 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

8) Promotes self-interest:

Phil 2:21 For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ's. Seeks your money in his life: Luke 16:13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

9) Gives counsel to God:

1 Cor 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

10) Demands belief in his position:

2 Pet 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

11) Shares that God will not judge you, do not fear God:

2 Pet 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

12) Shares opinion to explain Scripture:

2 Pet 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

So then how do you recognize these "false prophets"? The answer is right there in the Biblical warning quotes but all too often overlooked: you will know them not by appearances, but by their fruits and deeds. Daniel's fruits are none of these false attributes.

"The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control." Galatians 5:22-23 These are Daniel's fruits.

"Do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are of God ..." (1 John 4:1).

You have not tested the spirits properly.

You have made the mistake of the scribes and Pharisees by testing the spirits using your own narrow interpretation of Scripture or popular opinion. The correct test is to judge them by their fruits and deeds. If no fruit of the Holy Spirit is present, then it is safe to assume that they are not of God. Jesus bore much fruit of the Holy Spirit yet was condemned by the religious leaders and called a “demon” because He did not fit into their interpretation of Scripture, and because of shallow appearances fed by fear of the disruption of the status quo. Had they properly tested the spirits and judged Jesus on the basis of His fruit, He probably would not have been crucified.

The false prophets and cults and sects one should worry about are those who abuse their members through spiritual intimidation, financial manipulation, authoritarianism, legalism, and so on: in other words, David Koresh, Jim Jones, Charles Manson and the like. Certainly not Daniel; his fruits are none of these; I am not looking for followers, and am master over no one. Daniel is not interested in monetary fortune or attention from others – save for the minimum necessary to disseminate the message and truth to others, and all proceeds will be strictly used to spread the word of God. This will always remain so. Daniel wishes to free people ... not enslave them. To follow me or expect a doctrine would simply be a crutch placed on both of us, and this will not be allowed. In fact it may be the paranoid, heresy-hunting fundamentalists who can be suspected of being the "false prophets," for there are many, and trusted by the mainstream, leading people astray ... from the Light and truth through ignorance, fear and authoritative manipulation!

Just because the Prophet teaches something different from the church's traditional teaching or current mainstream as Daniel does, doesn't mean that the prophet is false or wrong. According to Scripture God always does it contrary to the human way of thinking. He (God) always does things according to His Word but contrary to man's interpretation of that Word.

Bible history demonstrates profusely that every major prophet and messenger of God was both misunderstood and finally rejected by ALL except a bare minority in whom was the Spirit of the Living God. So as is demonstrated, it is actually the adversarial fundamentalists and other orthodox traditionalists, should they continue with such absurd accusations, who are acting as "Satan," as adversaries to Daniel and his good fruits and truth-bearing, when all they perpetuate is darkness, fear, and doubt under the guise of light. So beware of the yeast of the Fundamentalists, for their fruits are darkness, doubt and fear, often under the guise of light.

Sincerely, and God bless, Daniel

P.S. God has a message for everyone: Don't take life so seriously
